Snowed In? Stay Cozy While Shopping!

If you're snowed in like me, you're probably staying cozy under the covers, sipping hot cocoa (or tea if you're me), and catching up on TV shows. When you want to take a break from watching TV, try online shopping! Lacking in work clothes? Have you been wanting new pumps? What about that new wallet or clutch you've been searching for? You might find everything you need with these exclusive online sales. They got great deals going on right now. A lot of my suggestions will be petite size friendly with regular sizing associated.

1) Madewell: Enter code XOXO for extra 50% off select sale styles and extra 30% off for the rest of the sale section.

My favorite item from this selection is the quinn shoe in calf hair. I love how Madewell stepped up their calf hair skimmer with a small, chunky heel. It gives the shoe a polished look that could easily be used for both day and night (as in going to the bars or having a laid back dinner with friends). I can imagine the shoes would be comfortable for shopping too!

2) Loft: Enter code SHOP40 for 40% off select styles. Extra 60% off sale items (no code needed).

Since I'm finally making my way into the work force, I've recently started shopping at Loft. My first regret after purchasing my first item was, "I wish I shopped at Loft sooner." Not only are their clothes perfect for work, but they fit amazingly for petite sized person like me ! I've come to realize the importance of a tailored outfit. No longer will I look sadly at a skirt thinking that it won't look good on me because of my height. I know I'll have Loft to fall back on.

3) Banana Republic: Enter code BRVDAY40 for 40% off entire purchase.

Banana Republic is great for work clothes. They give off that sophisticated, feminine touch to every item of clothing. Their clothes are also great for both day and night. My favorite item here is the sloan fit slim ankle pants. Not only do they fit perfectly, but they make an outfit look polished at the office and when you're out and about. I would even say that these pants should be a staple in your wardrobe. They can go with anything.

4) Asos: Enter code LONGHAUL for extra 15% off clearance.

Asos has clothes for everyone. Their selection ranges and caters to different fashion styles. Although their seasonal selections are great, I always tackle their sale/clearance section. It's just as good as their seasonal stuff. I've actually been eyeing the Bandeau Jumpsuit in black. The teal is on sale, but the black one isn't. I just think it would be great for summer, and because my shoulders are a little bit broad, the sweetheart-ish neckline would be so cute!

5) Aldo Shoes: Extra 50% off Sale boots. 50% off the original price on all clearance footwear. No code needed for both deals.
ORINGOAAUDAISEISEUTESSI (Available in 3 colors), PRAVDAFADEE

Aldo has been trying to sell their boots for the past two months. Do them a favor (both in store and online) and help them out... only if you like the shoes of course. The Fadee looks amazing, but the heel is too high and waaay too thin. If anything, the Pravda looks a lot more practical with the chunky heel (helps with comfort and balance). If you are looking for a boot, the Oringoa has been featured in many fashion blogs. So if you want to be trendy, here's your chance.

Although I only listed these websites, I'm pretty sure that there are many more amazing sales happening on others. What are your favorite websites to check out for great online deals?

Happy Shopping!

Flowers In Your Hair

I always tell everyone I love the cold more than the heat. Reason? I like snuggling up in the covers. However, it causes me to be really lazy and since the weather has been really chilly, I tend to curl up in bed longer than I should (especially since I have morning classes). But the moment the weather warmed up, I got my lazy self to put on this dress and I rolled on outside in front of this brick wall!

Deena & Ozzy Bowler Hat via Urban Outfitters | H&M Flower | Madewell Mirrorflower Dress
Black Tights | Jeffrey Campbell Lita | BDG Satchel Bag via Urban Outfitters

Isn't this dress chic? I fell in love once my eyes saw it back in November. Since then, I've been wearing it every chance I got. I've worn it to holiday parties, on dates with Stefan, at the salsa club, and more! Not only can I wear in the winter, but I can wear it all year around. And of course, my pair of Litas… I will always adore those babies! For 5" heels, they are really really comfortable. No longer am I 'towering' at 5'2" =) If only all heels were as comfortable as these.

Also, enjoy 10% off at Urban Outfitters in stores and online until February 14th. Code: LOVEUO. They are also doing a wonderful deal on all their BDG jeans… each one at the price of $39. Here's a couple of their jeans I like:

BDG Jean - White Floral Print | BDG Jean - Indigo Acid | BDG Jean- Grey Dip-Dye Roses

In store, I saw BDG jeans in black, green, red, and silver displayed in an eye-catching pattern. I couldn't find it online, but if you're interested, go ahead and scout the store. It's really pretty! They also had solid colored ones like mustard yellow, bright red, mint green, coral, and neon blue. You can find these colors both in stores and online.

Happy shopping!

Treading Slowly... Here Are Some Deals!

Please please please forgive me for not updating recently. The freezing cold weather here has been dampening my motivation to step outside and take pictures of my outfits. Other than watching How I Met Your Mother on Netflix (on season 6!) and easing my way back into school, I've been scouting for some deals online and in-store.

Here's a couple of things I found in each store:

1) Madewell - ( Code: LOVE40 ) extra 40% off sale styles + free shipping on EVERYTHING.

2) Chicwish - ( Code: FIRST15) If it's your first time registering, you get 15% your first order.

3) Romwe - ( Code: 20%) If it's your first time registering, you get 20% off your first order. Romwe also holds "Flash Sales" where certain items are on sale for a limited amount of time. If registered, you will get an email about these sales. They also do random sales such as $9 off if you spend $75.

4) Motel Rocks - ( Code: NEW10CREDIT) $10 off when you first register with Motel. On you're birthday, they will email you and give you a code for 20% (I know this because my birthday is coming up and I received an email from them).

These clothes are just some of the many clothes I've been lusting for quite a while (but don't have the money for so I thrift instead). I feel like a lot of these are good staples to have in the closet such as the white heels, the white shirt, the black a-line skirt, the slouchy black sweater, and the black calf hair bag. And of course I added in a couple of things that would add some flair to an outfit such as the necklace from Motel, the red bowler hat, and the blue sequin drawstring pants. Even the white lace shirt from Chicwish could be untucked or tucked.

What types of clothes have you been wanting for a while? Are they staple items for your wardrobe or are they clothes that add flair to your outfits?

It's probably really late to say this but…

Aldo Shoes is currently holding a 50% off sale on their sale footwear online only (http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/sale). Take advantage of this great offer since today is the last day they are holding the sale. There were a couple of shoes I saw that I adored:
