Flowers In Your Hair

I always tell everyone I love the cold more than the heat. Reason? I like snuggling up in the covers. However, it causes me to be really lazy and since the weather has been really chilly, I tend to curl up in bed longer than I should (especially since I have morning classes). But the moment the weather warmed up, I got my lazy self to put on this dress and I rolled on outside in front of this brick wall!

Black Tights | Jeffrey Campbell Lita | BDG Satchel Bag via Urban Outfitters

Isn't this dress chic? I fell in love once my eyes saw it back in November. Since then, I've been wearing it every chance I got. I've worn it to holiday parties, on dates with Stefan, at the salsa club, and more! Not only can I wear in the winter, but I can wear it all year around. And of course, my pair of Litas… I will always adore those babies! For 5" heels, they are really really comfortable. No longer am I 'towering' at 5'2" =) If only all heels were as comfortable as these.

Also, enjoy 10% off at Urban Outfitters in stores and online until February 14th. Code: LOVEUO. They are also doing a wonderful deal on all their BDG jeans… each one at the price of $39. Here's a couple of their jeans I like:

BDG Jean - White Floral Print | BDG Jean - Indigo Acid | BDG Jean- Grey Dip-Dye Roses

In store, I saw BDG jeans in black, green, red, and silver displayed in an eye-catching pattern. I couldn't find it online, but if you're interested, go ahead and scout the store. It's really pretty! They also had solid colored ones like mustard yellow, bright red, mint green, coral, and neon blue. You can find these colors both in stores and online.

Happy shopping!

Get "Snazzy" on Instagram!

I tried to get away from all the hype of instagram, but today I made a new leap: I launched my first instagram account. Not only will it feature fashion related pics, but also things that I cook (I love cooking). Feel free to tag along on the adventure at http://instagram.com/thesnazzychronicles/.

This is the first instagram I did today:

portabella mushroom with avocados, tomatoes, eggs, and a beef patty.
green tea at the side in an Anthropologie monogram cup.

I hope seeing a yummy picture (and I hope you think it's yummy) will be an incentive for you to follow =)

Treading Slowly... Here Are Some Deals!

Please please please forgive me for not updating recently. The freezing cold weather here has been dampening my motivation to step outside and take pictures of my outfits. Other than watching How I Met Your Mother on Netflix (on season 6!) and easing my way back into school, I've been scouting for some deals online and in-store.

Here's a couple of things I found in each store:

1) Madewell - ( Code: LOVE40 ) extra 40% off sale styles + free shipping on EVERYTHING.

2) Chicwish - ( Code: FIRST15) If it's your first time registering, you get 15% your first order.

3) Romwe - ( Code: 20%) If it's your first time registering, you get 20% off your first order. Romwe also holds "Flash Sales" where certain items are on sale for a limited amount of time. If registered, you will get an email about these sales. They also do random sales such as $9 off if you spend $75.

4) Motel Rocks - ( Code: NEW10CREDIT) $10 off when you first register with Motel. On you're birthday, they will email you and give you a code for 20% (I know this because my birthday is coming up and I received an email from them).

These clothes are just some of the many clothes I've been lusting for quite a while (but don't have the money for so I thrift instead). I feel like a lot of these are good staples to have in the closet such as the white heels, the white shirt, the black a-line skirt, the slouchy black sweater, and the black calf hair bag. And of course I added in a couple of things that would add some flair to an outfit such as the necklace from Motel, the red bowler hat, and the blue sequin drawstring pants. Even the white lace shirt from Chicwish could be untucked or tucked.

What types of clothes have you been wanting for a while? Are they staple items for your wardrobe or are they clothes that add flair to your outfits?
