Denim on Cheetah Print

BDG denim studded vest from urban outfitters (similar here), skull shirt from h&m, cheetah print skirt from h&m (similar here), spiked chain necklace from forever 21 (similar here), backpack from forever 21 (similar here), gold watch from mom, black lita boots from Jeffrey Campbell

I'm starting to realize how important it is to wear a third piece. For this outfit, it would be the studded denim vest. From what I learned from work, that third piece really takes an outfit far. Whether it is a large, staple necklace, a sweater, a scarf, a vest, etc, it can definitely make an outfit look way better. I honestly thought this outfit looked awesome prior to adding the vest, but once I threw denim on top, I decided to keep it.  It really adds a finishing touch to the soft floral purple of the skull shirt and the gold spiked necklace. What do you guys like to add as a finishing touch to your outfits?

I hope ya'll enjoyed the look! Hype me on lookbook and remember to follow me on instagrampinterest, and here! I would deeply appreciate it =)

Have a good week!

Cherry Blossom Adventures

This past weekend, I touristed out the cherry blossoms in DC. Although the cherry blossoms have already reached their peak, they were still beautiful to see. FYI, most of the pictures were taken on my iphone, my boyfriend's android phone, and his SLR (just the outfit part). Some will be blurrier than others XD

My friends were also in DC and wanted to get ramen, so my boyfriend and I did a small, tiny, little photo shoot on the Mall while we waited for them.

Afterwards, we finally met up with our friends and ate some ramen at a Japanese restaurant called Daikaya. I ordered the Shio Ramen and added toppings to it like seaweed and such.

When we finally finished, this is how our receipts were delivered to us!

Overall, I had a great Saturday spent in good company and good food. I must say, however, that I've had better ramen before, but the food still tasted great and left me full in the end. Well, until next year cherry blossoms! Hopefully, I'll get to see you in full bloom!

I hope you guys enjoyed the pictures =) Have a great week everyone!

Garages, Bricks, and Blues

.... and now for some fun pictures!

hat from Urban Outfitters, flower from H&M, blazer from H&M, coller shirt from Forever 21, book bag from Forever 21, dress from Urban Outfitters, watch from Target, brooch from Laila Rowe, shoes from BCBG

A small look featuring my utmost favorite item currently: the light brown book bag. I can literally match it with any outfit... and it's my book bag for school. I thought about replacing the blue blazer with a flaming orange red one instead (after all, a pop of color is always fantastic), but I really like the subtle, demure, pretty look it gives the dress.  Maybe I'll do this same outfit, but with the red blazer in the future. For now, I'm really liking how the blues and blacks contrast nicely against the whites. The bag and the pink flower also adds a nice touch!

Also, I know the wedges are completely worn out, but these are my go-to shoes for anything ;) I love them!
